In like a lion, out like a lamb
The Beast of the East has roared, ushering in March with an unfriendly welcome. Storm Emma has also come to play, sending great sheaves of snow to drift across the roads, closing most of our local routes. Since my last guest skidded off down the drive, my admin has been done, the Spring decluttering chapter has been opened, I've even watched two films right to the end. But now, pleeeeease, I would like to go out! We so take for granted our normal lives, buzzing about, going to work, popping off to the shops, school run, coffee with a friend - whatever the activity, we never realise how joyous it is until we can't do it anymore. It's the same with going away. We long to be on holiday, away from the humdrum routine, but when we get there we realise the best part is going home again.
If the saying is true, then the month of March will skip out like a lamb - a great time to take a Spring break. Hopefully you can enjoy a few relaxing days before home beckons.
You can bottle-feed the lambs at Wroxham Barns until 1st July 2018
Activities at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden include a Mothering Sunday guided walk on Sunday 11th March.
